    It's been over a year since Hamas abducted more than two hundred hostages from Israel and forced them into captivity in underground tunnels of Gaza. Those taken ranged in all ages from toddlers to seniors with about a hundred still remaining captive. One woman is sharing the story of her niece that was abducted by Hamas and says the remaining hostages need all the support we can give them. FOX’s Tonya J. Powers speaks with Liz Hirsh Naftali, author of the book 'Saving Abigail: The True Story of the Abduction and Rescue of a Three-Year-Old Hostage', who shares the dramatic story of her 3-year old niece that was abducted by Hamas and the importance of keeping those still captive in the spotlight.   • The President's Gift To Death Row Inmates

    President Biden commuted the sentences of 37 out of the 40 inmates on federal death row. The administration is touting the move, celebrating American history's "largest single-day grant of clemency." In total, President Biden has pardoned 65 individuals and commuted sentences for 1,634 inmates during his time in office. Former DOJ prosecutor and member of the Attorney General’s Capital Case Review Committee, James Trusty, joins the Rundown to share his thoughts on the President's actions and the impact the commutations will have on the victims and their families. The American Red Cross spends every year working to help those in medical need, and one of the most important needs during the holidays is blood. Red Cross national spokesperson Tiffayn Taylor joins the Rundown to discuss the importance of donating blood during the holiday season and why the blood supply trends low in the winter months. Later, they and how the blood supply has been crucial during disaster relief efforts. Plus, commentary by Vice President of Communications for Focus on The Family, Paul Batura.   • Evening Edition: Migrant Sets Woman On Fire In NYC Subway Car
    2024/12/23
    A 33-year-old Guatemalan migrant has been arrested in connection in the death of a woman who was set on fire inside a subway train in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. It remains unclear if he entered the United States legally or illegally, but police said he was detained in Arizona in June of 2018. The fatal incident occurred Sunday morning on a train when police say the suspect approached a sleeping woman and lit her clothing on fire with a lighter. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Paul Mauro, former NYPD Inspector and current FOX News contributor, who says these subway crimes have become very random but they do share some similarities.
