This is our 3rd part of the 4-part series on the 4 Horsemen from John Gottman and today, we are going to talk about defensiveness. We will discuss what defensiveness means and what the antidote is for your relationship.
Call to Order:
Think about the last argument you had in your relationship. Try to identify when you were defensive and recognize what happened in that discussion. What made you defensive? What was the outcome?
Think about what you would say differently and practice being less defensive and more solution-oriented.
