On The Business Show on Marlow FM on 20th March 2025, my guests were Gemma Wass of Harding Financial and Deb Mason of Clean Services.

The Damned were the link between the two tracks I played, given the sad demise of Brian James, their founding guitarist. First came “New Rose” - you can hear it at https://youtu.be/TUxFQ5QBiYk?si=lgJepfvC3pqLp24W – I love the raw energy of the video.

Deb Mason then spoke about Clean Services, a commercial laundry who play a crucial role in keeping industry running, particularly in the hospitality sector. And she also ran through the wide range of other services they provide, including workwear and special event linen.

You can connect with Deb via https://www.linkedin.com/in/debmasonsocialmediacommsspecialist/ and the company website is at https://www.cleanservices.co.uk/ .

Gemma then spoke about the work of Harding Financial, addressing the financial affairs of businesses and individuals to enable them to plan for the future they seek, making dreams come true!

For more on Gemma see https://www.linkedin.com/in/gemma-wass-previously-ryeland-180a3611/ and their website is at https://hardingfinancial.co.uk/ .

Her music choice was Ella Henderson with “Brave” because the words tie in with Harding’s charitable efforts. Hear it at https://youtu.be/JTK1nC8ptkA?si=6V7xbF6WKgqRd03Q .

Deb’s story for us was at https://www.dreams.co.uk/loveyourbed which provoked quite a conversation about the merits of different forms of TV advertising.

We then played Deb’s choice of music – “Fresh” by Kool & the Gang, because it goes so well with what we just discussed! You can hear it at https://youtu.be/sTJ1XwGDcA4?si=YCkhD0t9z_c46vHm .

And Gem’s story was https://www.theguardian.com/money/2025/mar/16/uk-high-street-chains-restaurants-cash-payments - the first time I’ve heard to pro-cash argument that we need it to keep society going in the event of a catastrophe. What do you think?

We had a little time to discuss the story I found at https://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/24996556.aldi-launches-design-competition-bucks-children/ - do we feel positive about this, or have they got it a bit wrong?

The last song was the second from The Damned – “Smash it up” - hear a great live version at https://youtu.be/i9zzqfjdF2Y?si=8k5ktecbH68ow_pH .

  • Before you can lead anyone, you've got to learn to lead yourself
    2025/03/15

On today’s episode of The Enterprise Doctor Business Show, my guest is Dr Kevin Mays of Mays Leadership, who improves executive performance through conscious leadership.

Their processes have helped countless leaders stand above the competition by creating the powerful leadership culture that drives growth. By leading from the inside out, their 3-step process assures positive sustained change from the top of the house on down to the front line so you can attract top talent, increase efficiency, and thrive.

They don't offer a plaster or quick fix for deep company issues: if that is what you're after, they're not the help you need.

However, if you are committed to developing a healthy, self-aware and intentional organisation where members take full ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the company success, they can help.

During the conversation, Kevin told us his story, including how he came to be doing what he does, and we talked about how one actually learns to lead oneself.

You can connect with Kevin at https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-kevin-mays-3b893210/ and his website is at https://www.maysleadership.com/ .

  • Shift your internal programming to create exponential growth
    2025/03/01

On today’s episode of The Enterprise Doctor Business Show, my guest is David Neagle, a North Carolina based business consultant who helps people tap into their potential for an amazing business and life.

David is proof that a single shift in mindset can transform everything. Once a high school dropout and minimum-wage forklift driver, David discovered the three mindset shifts that skyrocketed his income and set him on the path to building a multi-million-dollar business. Today, he’s known for helping entrepreneurs turn their annual income into their monthly income—often in under 12 months.

During the conversation, David revealed the real reason most entrepreneurs stay stuck at their current level and how shifting their internal programming can create exponential growth in their business and life.

David has provided for you a download at www.lifeisnowinc.com/pg-enterprisedoctor which he thinks you should read to help you understand the #1 truth that will help you create the success you desire in your business. This truth is why you should keep going even in tough times. The truth David is talking about and what the playbook is called is: You were born to be a success.

In the download he breaks down why this is true and gives an exercise that’s designed to help anyone get really clear on what they want and pinpoint and remove their blocks or “blind spots” currently getting in the way.

You can connect with David at https://www.linkedin.com/in/thedavidneagle/ and his website is at https://www.lifeisnowinc.com/.
