An Effervescent Home is filled with beautifully chaotic homemaking, informative health discussions, practical interior design knowledge, and in depth cultural conversations; all while building our families weather biologically, fostering, adoption or expansion.

Brandy is a recent stay-at-home mom with three adopted children. Her and her family live on a homestead they are cultivating on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. While homeschooling and running a small business, she tries to fit in as much effervescence in her life.

Shimi is a creative entrepreneur living her best life as a single woman living in a Coastal Georgia town. Shimi enjoys traveling and experiencing art in various forms. While she dreams of a family one day she isn't set on settling with just anyone. Shimi is a vivacious and soulful woman that has a lot to express.

Brandy and Shimi met in college at The Art Institute of Atlanta while studying interior design. After forming a great friendship, they worked together to rebuild South Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina.
