  • Why Frisco TX Continues to Shine with Kelly Walker

    • The American Express was a return to the winner's circle for Georgia alum Sepp Straka, slowly turning into one of the world's best. But PGA Rookie William Mouw stole the show with his horrifically bad 13 during his second round.
    • The schedule for the next few weeks is set on the PGA TOUR until the Genesis Invitational. Normally at Riviera, now moved due to the LA Wildfires, Alex and Michael wonder if we'll see the tournament in Scottsdale right after the WM Phoenix Open.
    • The Dubai Desert Classic was a big win or LIV golfer Tyrrel Hatton, whose win in Dubai will give him much needed OWGR points to stay in the majors.
    • Tiger Woods made his official TGL debut last week, but didn't get a good result as his Jupiter Links fell to a very good LA Golf Club anchored by Sahith Theegala.
    • Alex is off to Orlando for the PGA Show this week, where he'll be chatting with world renowned instructors, Solheim Cup Captain Stacy Lewis, and more. Make sure to follow along on our IG and YouTube so you don't miss it.
    • In Tuned In, Michael is battening down the hatches as an unusual winter storm makes its way to Savannah with freezing rain, sleet, and snow. Alex, meanwhile, is disappointed with the "ending" of Squid Game and wonders what the best game to take is in Mr Beast's Beast Games.
    • This week's guest is Kelly Walker from Visit Frisco, The Communications Manager shares her thoughts on the amazing golf available in this Dallas suburb, how great the sport scene is, and more.

  • Francis Biondi on Master Chef, Holey Moley, and Golf Instruction
    2025/01/15
    • The Sony Open went to a playoff, and Nick Taylor notched his third playoff and fifth PGA Tour victory in Hawaii.
    • TGL debuted at its home in Florida as The Bay Golf Club beat up the New York Golf Club at the incredibly tech-infused indoor league which left Alex very satisfied.
    • LIV Golf has always been about the money, and one exiting member of the rival tour sounded off.
    • Next week is the PGA Show in Orlando, FL where anyone who makes anything golf related gets together to showcase their wares. Alex will be there once again and shares what we should expect in the coming weeks on the podcast.
    • In Tuned In, Michael shares the progress he and his wife are making in their two-year long board game challenge, playing every game they own 3 times (they own over 100). Alex, meanwhile, doesn't understand why everyone doesn't take the money in Squid Game's second season, and the new Beast Games from Mr Beast.

    • The Sentry kicked off the 2025 season in paradise and Hideki Matsuyama set a PGA scoring record with a unique swing that bothers Alex.
    • 2024 wrapped up in style for Alex and Michael, as they share what happened during the holidays, including a hilarious tour of Savannah, and poorly-timed sickness for Alex.
    • The TGL kicks off this week with an arena that includes incredible technology, a rotating green, and a screen as big as a movie theater.
    • Rumors are swirling of a new format for the TOUR Championship, and it would mark a return of a bracket on the PGA Tour.
    • Scottie Scheffler punctured his hand during Christmas, and Alex really wonders why the best player in the world is risking injury to his most important asset.
    • In Tuned In, Michael watched the hilarious surrealist slapstick comedy Hundreds of Beavers and encourages everyone to watch it. Alex, meanwhile, can't get over the generosity of Mr Beast in the new show Beast Games.
    • This week's guest is Jason Mengel, the Championship Director of the 2023 KitchenAide Senior PGA Champ, the 2025 KMPG Women's PGA Champ, and the 2027 PGA Champ, all being held at PGA Frisco.     • College Football's new bracket is creating plenty of drama, and all the upsets, as all of the top 4 seeds lost their games. But Alex's Baby Bets were able to secure a winning season as Bowl Season heads toward its conclusion.
    • The NFL Season wrapped up its regular season, and Michael's Giants and Alex's Patriots shared similar fates. And yet, the Giants kept their coach and the Patriots parted ways with theirs, creating some confusion and frustration.

    • The DP World Tour had their annual episode of Planet Earth with a side of golf in South Africa for the Alfred Dunhill Championship, where local Shaun Norris had to wait it out after posting a score for the win.
    • This weekend is the annual PNC Championship, where all eyes will be on Tiger Woods as he returns to play with son Charlie. But other parent-child teams are more likely to win this fun event.
    • Alex is headed to Frisco, TX to see the Frisco Bowl and check in with friends from his last trip to the Dallas area.
    • In Tuned In, Alex is sharing his take on the season finale of Yellowstone, while the Top 10 is now very full of Christmas songs.
    • This week's guest is Blair Wortsmith, who the guys first met at the Desire Cup at TPC Sawgrass in 2023.     • The Grant Thorton Invitational heads to Naples, FL with co-ed teams from the PGA and LPGA, an event that should really have a more central spot on the golf game's calendar.
    • Michael shares a news story about someone's golf clubs that caught fire thanks to a Delta luggage crew, and Alex wonders how that could happen.
    • In Tuned In, Michael shares a review of this year's Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, while Alex is enjoying the new Pop Culture Jeopardy!
    • This week's guests are WVU Football reporter Jorden from the Country Roads Webcast and John Maddox from TigersSportsReport.com. Both Jorden and John share insights from the past season, what's in store for the future, and their predictions for the Frisco Bowl.

  • Turkey Week 2024 Special
    2024/11/27
    • The RSM Classic finished off the PGA Tour's Fall schedule, and it included a new winner on Tour and some movers that secured cards for 2025.
    • The LPGA season wrapped up with the CME Group Tour Championship, and it was a nail-bitter of a Sunday between Angel Yin and Jean Thitikul for the largest prize money in LPGA history.
    • Thanksgiving week is here and that means you can play golf without having to watch golf, you can eat what you want when you want, and you can watch whatever is on the television.
    • Women's college basketball had two milestones this week: a new winningest coach in college basketball, and the end of the game's current longest winning streak.
    • College Football had some surprises in store this weekend, and Alex's Baby Bets didn't fare too well.
    • In the NFL, Michael's Giants had big changes over the last week, but the same horrible results. Alex's Patriots, meanwhile, cruised into meaninglessness. And the NFL Thanksgiving slate doesn't look that hot.
    • As the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Alex can't believe the prices for pizza and chicken tenders at a UNLV game, while Michael is flabbergasted as a DiGiorno Thanksgiving Pizza special.
