  • On The Corner With History & D.E.I. Part 2
    2025/05/05

This episode continues the series (part 2) I started last time about the history that went on to inform and inspire laws and policies related to equality, civil rights, and ultimately what is now known as D.E.I. On this episode, I discuss the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments of The Constitution, the Chinese Exclusionary Act, and the many treaties the United States government broke with the indigenous people of this land.

  • On The Corner With History & D.E.I. Part 1
    2025/04/08

On this episode, I start the multi-part series of what in American history led to D.E.I. related laws and policies. It's a dark and horrid history, one that I don't think many people rallying against equality truly let themselves understand.
