このコンテンツについて
In this episode, I’m opening up about one of the most vulnerable parts of my book — the chapter I almost deleted.
Specifically, the essay I call The Violation.
This wasn’t the first time something like this happened to me, but it was the most recent, the most numbing — and the one I stayed silent about.
Not because I didn’t know what happened, but because I remembered the backlash I got the first time I spoke up.
Including it in the book wasn’t easy, but I kept it in because I know I’m not the only one.
I want other women, other survivors, to know it’s okay to speak up, even when it’s uncomfortable — even when you’re still healing.
I also share how this story turned into chapters about reclaiming power, sharing your truth, and believing other women — and yourself.
