    Unfortunately, Eric Spofford is a dime a dozen in the treatment industry. Dana having worked in the treatment industry knows first hand how shady some practices can be. While Tara never worked in treatment, she was a patient more times than she can count and she was part of the same 12 step retreat family that Eric Spofford comes from. Piers Kaniuka, Spofford's old sponsor and former Director of Spritual Life at Spofford's treatment center, took Tara through the big book twice when she attended a rehab in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
