Day 10 at Wimbledon 2025 delivered thrilling quarterfinal action across the men’s and women’s singles draws. In the men’s quarterfinals, Novak Djokovic overcame a brief scare after slipping on match point to defeat Flavio Cobolli in four sets, 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, earning his 14th Wimbledon semifinal appearance. Jannik Sinner, in commanding form despite earlier elbow issues, dispatched Ben Shelton 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 to set up a blockbuster semifinal against Djokovic. There was also a surprise retirement announce from another Italian - Fabio Fognini - on site after his whirlwind performance earlier in the tournament against Carlos Alcaraz.

On the women’s side, Iga Swiatek reached her first Wimbledon semifinal with a solid win over Liudmila Samsonova, 6-2, 7-5. Joining her is Belinda Bencic, who edged out rising star Mirra Andreeva in two tight tiebreaks, 7-6, 7-6, continuing her impressive return to form as a new mother - but should this really be the narrative?
