In this episode of Go When God Calls, I’m excited to share a story that beautifully captures the essence of teaching, learning, and multiplying knowledge. At Beacon of Hope, we believe in empowering young men not just to meet their daily needs, but to become future leaders, fathers, and agents of change in their communities. The story you'll hear is adapted by one of our former students, who learned an important lesson about teaching others. He was inspired by a simple act—helping someone cross a river—and turned it into a powerful message about the importance of self-sufficiency and guiding others. I’ll also reflect on my own journey, the influence of my parents and church, and how 2 Timothy 2:2 reminds us to invest in others.
