Psalm 23 is a jam packed chapter of Scripture, reminding us of who we are and who we are not. Our Shepherd, is more than enough and capable, of leading us well on this journey of life. We are book ended with grace and invited to the table of all tables, but sometimes we have to fight to get there! We were created to live our lives in wonder, wonder at this God who loves us so deeply. But some of us end up wasting our lives, wandering aimlessly without a shepherd to lead and guide us.

What if my greatest struggles in life were actually God's gift to me? So many ask, "If God is good, then why........." and no one can come up with an answer. Are we so entitled as to think that we should only receive the good from God and not the hard, too? Is there purpose behind the struggles we face? How can we learn to view our struggles differently?

What would it look like if we stopped taking our Bibles for granted, or misusing them to cut down others, and instead used it as mirror to reflect our own shortcomings and need for God's grace and mercy?

Jesus gives His followers a striking command in Matthew 5:43-48, telling us to love our enemies. But we cannot love our enemies without first forgiving them. Are you carrying heavy weights that you were never meant to carry? Because there is freedom, healing, redemption, restoration and forgiveness at the foot of the cross! Loving our enemies is far more than just not hating them, but we cannot do that on our own strength for as Jeremiah 17:9 says, our hearts are desperately wicked.

I was in a dark place while in college, and God used a professor of mine to rescue me. The secret weapon? She loved me where I was, but loved me enough to not let me stay there. I will forever be grateful for my professors and how God used them to rescue me! Love changes everything, and is never wasted!
