Zach is a native of New Hampshire, USA and he has been interested in watches since the age of 13, when he walked into Macy’s and bought a gaudy, quartz, two-tone Citizen chronograph with his hard earned Bar Mitzvah money. It was lost in a move years ago, but he continues to hunt for a similar piece on eBay. Zach loves a wide variety of watches, but leans toward classic designs and proportions that have stood the test of time. He is currently obsessed with Grand Seiko.

In this episode I speak with George Bamford, Founder of Bamford London to hear his expert views on collecting. George describes himself as a ‘Magpie’ collector of vintage watches. Collecting watches can become an obsession. The interest in collecting has coincided with a huge gain in popularity of the pre-owned/vintage watch sector. George has a passion for watches connected with racing and is drawn to the different coloured watch dials from the 60s and 70s and believes this to be the ‘sweet spot’ for vintage watch collecting. In this episode I speak with Jorn Werdelin, Co-Founder of Linde Werdelin, who is a former investment banker and has built the brand over the past 20-years with his business partner, Morten Linde. The origins of Linde Werdelin go back to the 1970’s when the two boys met in primary school and quickly became lifelong friends.
