    "Hello everyone in the Swell community. I do apologize for the background noise. I am actually outside. I decided to take a break today from my studies just for a little bit and I began to reflect as I sat here on the impact that digital emotional apps and platforms are having on the mental health community as well as wellness and self care community. A lot of these platforms I'm noticing are really starting to change the trajectory of how we approach mental health care and basically how we care for ourselves."

    "Although a lot of people want to take it away from women, it can't be. It's something that has to be embraced. Those are transitions that we have to be appreciative of. Yes, it's not our cup of tea. For many, it's not their cup of tea. Me but when you know a person's story, you can only but appreciate how far they've gotten. And I feel this way with all the women that have come into my life that I have guided."

    "Ultimately, we raise our children in accordance to our own image. So when our children begin to behave in ways we don't agree with and it doesn't fit the image we created in our minds about them, we immediately want to jump in and correct the behavior."

    "And despite how well we raise them, they will begin to make their own decisions according to what motivates them in life. Whether we like it or not, it's something that needs to be accepted to gain peace of mind and to also stop the rescuing behavior while continue enabling their own negative behavior."

    "This goes for apparently it is not a reflection of it nor a result of it. It's what lets me provide resource can also provide support if this is the case for many parents. Either way, explore your alternatives. We can believe we are the best parents in the world, but taking parenting classes or courses can possibly teach better listening skills and communication skills. So we can be comfortable with exploring the uncomfortable."

    "And that's when I noticed what really is important in my life is my life. Not the life of celebrities, not the life of YouTubers and influencers and things of that nature, not the things that are being fed to us as a collective. Because once I turned my back to all those things, I was able to function. Yet when I was focused on all those images that were out there, I could not really sustain even my own connection and bond with myself because I was exhausted."
