Did you know that April is National Stress Awareness Month? That's right! Ever since 1992, there has been a focus on learning how to cope with stress and living a healthy, positive lifestyle.
We all deal with stress from time to time, whether it is at home, at work, or in our personal life. However, stress can become a serious problem if you don't know how to deal with it in a healthy way. According to Stress.org, long-term stress can prove to be more than just a mental issue. From headaches to stomach disorders to depression – even very serious issues like stroke and heart disease can come as a result of stress."
This week, Mark, Steve and Jocelyn share what stressors surround them and how they cope during those moments.
Even after April comes to an end, we challenge you to try 1 or 2 of the techniques we mentioned to combat the stress in your life and share with us what stresses you and how you deal with it.
