As Rob starts rehearsals for a production of Macbeth he’s directing, the boys don their cod pieces and doublets and discuss all things Shakespeare.

There’s some tenuous links to sport in Shakespeare, the boys chat about their favourite productions they’ve seen, what Shakespeare means to them, who they’d love to play, Rob tells us about wrestling in As You Like It and Jack gives us a few lines of “But soft…’ from Romeo and Juliet (which quickly sends Ken to sleep!)

Once more with feeling!!!

As Rob heads into rehearsals with Macbeth, it got the boys thinking about all of their experiences when preparing for that dreaded first day in the rehearsal room!

There’s talk about different rehearsal styles both with actors and directors, the importance of trust between all departments, how to give and take notes, the gift of routine for 4 weeks, how many biscuits can one man eat in a rehearsal room. Jack and Rob even have a little roleplay on how to take the perfect note!

Jack, Rob and James get up to date with all the end of season woo’s and woe’s in football this year!

Rob is over the moon with his beloved Leeds United’s return to the Premier League while Jack laments his West Bromwich Albion’s very poor end to the season.
