    This special was a really great way to say goodbye, and I'm looking forward to seeing some performances that were apparently cut from the final episode. I will miss these characters so much and I really can't wait to see what Rachel Bloom gets up to next.

    I can't believe the story is over (well, it's not over at all, but you know what I mean). This was a deeply satisfying finale and I'm so happy with how everything shook out in the end. I wasn't sure what direction they were going to go in, but I decided to have faith and it paid off. This is just what I wanted.

    This episode was a lot of fun, and a much-needed regroup with the Girl Gang considering how close we are to the end of the show. It's interesting to see how this show injects zaniness now that Rebecca isn't the main source of dysfunction anymore, and I think this worked out really beautifully. Also, I am interested in Paula's new job and getting to see her succeed, and I really wish that we were going to have more time to watch that happen.

    Also, Rebecca is faced with the specter of abandonment, and she doesn't cope super well because she has gotten lax on her work. It doesn't go super well...but in the end, she makes the right choice.

    When I realized this was going to be a Nathaniel-centric episode I was very unsure how I would feel about it, but it turns out that this was actually a fun episode. I really liked the handling of his expectation that he can DO something to get her back, and I loved Rebecca's reaction to hearing about his daydream.
