At 44, Rachel Beck is single, thriving, and living life fully on her own terms. After marrying at 26 and divorcing at 33, she spent years navigating the societal pressure to find a life partner — searching for love in the relentless New York City dating pool. From long-term relationships to exhausting hours on dating apps, Rachel discovered that she often felt more fulfilled on her own than with the people she met along the way.
In 2022, Rachel embraced a profound awakening: a relationship was not the key to her happiness or completion. This realisation led her to move back to her tiny hometown in the rural Midwest, where she traded her long career in education for something new and unexpected—working as a blackjack dealer by day, and building her podcast and business, The Feisty Heroine, by night.
Her podcast celebrates the stories of resilient women who defy societal expectations, overcome challenges, and rewrite their own narratives to live their heroine moments. Rachel’s journey is about choosing herself, embracing the unexpected, and proving that true fulfilment comes from within.
