Jarren Dyson is the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Army where he joined the West Point Men’s Basketball coaching staff in June 2023.

Prior to West Point, he spent five years at Lafayette College where he helped lead Lafayette to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in 20 years. They won the 2020-2021 Patriot League Central Division Championship. Serving as the Recruiting Coordinator, he helped recruit and develop three Patriot League All Rookie selections, a Patriot League Rookie of the Year and five All Patriot League Selections. He was involved in player development with perimeter players and with student-athlete academics. He was also tasked with managing administrative duties and the day-to-day operations of the program. He also served as program director for Lafayette's Elite Camp for two seasons.

Now in his 40th season, Coach Catanach has built the Spartan program into a perennial powerhouse, with an astonishing 28 Sunshine State Conference titles, 36 NCAA tournament appearances, and four national championships (2006, 2014, 2018, and 2021).

With a career record of 1,169-216 and an .840 winning percentage, Coach Catanach ranks among the all-time greats in both victories and consistency. Coach Mike Jarvis was the quintessential East Coast college basketball coach for 5 decades leading Boston University, George Washington University, St. John's University, and Florida Atlantic's Men's Basketball teams from 1985-2014. His teams advanced to the NCAA National Tournament 9 different times including an Elite 8 and Sweet 16 appearance and led the St. John's Red Storm to the NIT National Championship in 2003.

Coach is also responsible for the development of Hall of Fame Center Patrick Ewing's illustrious career. Coach led Cambridge Rindge and Latin School to 3 straight Massachusetts High School State Championships with Ewing as his star pupil.
