あらすじ・解説
In a media landscape woefully lacking in coverage of animal agriculture and animal rights, Marina Bolotnikova is one of the people filling that void. Having written pieces for such lauded publications like the Guardian, The New York Times, and The Intercept, Marina is now most visible as an editor for Vox. And Vox has been one of the few publications that has a dedicated team to writing about animal agriculture with an eye to exposing the reality of it and not whitewashing it in a way so many others do. When I began working more closely with Direct Action Everywhere's press team, I kept hearing a name over and over. That was Marina. And that's because DxE had identified a reporter who was passionate, smart, and took the issue seriously. Sadly this is a rare quality when it comes to the topic, as I have bemoaned on this channel quite a bit. I got to meet Marina in Wisconsin during the Ridglan trial-that-didn't-happen, but this is our first really in-depth conversation, and it was a joy. Thank you for shining a light into the darkness of these factory farms, Marina.
