  • The Second Act
    2022/12/29

We're wrapping up for the year with some words of wisdom from Secondhand Styling's founder, Lucy Norris. Have you ever made a big change in your life? It can sometimes feel like a second act or the next chapter is about to begin.

This episode of Secondhand Chat, Lucy shares her very own Second Acts and the role secondhand fashion has played during these times; from her life in New York, career in fashion tv, moving back to the UK and most recently entering the world of motherhood (as you might have guessed this was recorded a few weeks ago as we welcomed Baby GiGi to the world 7 weeks ago!).

Lucy explores how secondhand fashion has always been her lean on throughout life changes and allowed her to be the best version of herself without breaking the bank. Look good, feel good right?

Let us know what you think, don't forget to check out our socials @secondhandstylinguk & remember - you don't need a million to look a million.

We've been super excited at Secondhand Styling, for lots of reasons, but mainly because we've recently launched our swap shops within businesses. So if you're an employee of the businesses we've hosted our swap shops at, you will have been able to swap, shop & style with your colleagues whilst at work!

To share the experience we wanted to talk to Lisa Riley, Front Of House Receptionist & Events Co-ordinator at Marshall Mills, one of the businesses who hosted a swap shop for its employees. We speak about why swap shops are beneficial to businesses, what interested Marshall Mills and why they'd recommend it to other businesses.

If you're a business looking to offer a sustainable & unique experience to your employees, get in touch we'd love to hear from you.

We hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did & let us know what you think!
