  • I had the huge honor and pleasure of speaking to Barbara about her role as ‘Olga’ and I was hyper-focused the entire time. Her and I spoke about how her character played a pivotal role in the movie; essentially, Olga was the procurer of victims. She also explained how she prepared herself for the role and how Dario Argento wanted her to be herself, in which we both agreed was genius.

    Although this movie falls under the category of horror, to me it’s more of a dark fantasy film because we all know the reputation of Dario Argento, he didn’t direct just a basic horror film. Even almost 50 years later, this masterpiece is still making waves in the horror community and Barbara is popular at conventions.

    For what it’s come out as, this is one interview that I will never forget. Speaking to an iconic and legendary actress who has starred in a phenomenal movie, I have no words to express my deepest appreciation.
