With a deconstructed cheesesteak for lunch, Dave recounts his weekend at the Renaissance Festival. But, Dave is optimistic. You see, we were fortunate enough to live in a world with James Earl Jones. Knowing that someone like JEJ could exist seems to make things work out in the end. Rest in peace. The winds of change are shifting, or really we are just entering Fall. As the weather gets cooler, Dave is becoming heated with marketing and promotion of the mediocre. But with the slightest recollection, one might be able to catch any of them in a lie. Who really cares? Sometimes a good sandwich or taco soup is the thing needed to get you by.

The in-laws were in town, and Dave had to divi up some space. The cherry on top was a trip to the wonderful, and very expensive, Great Wolf Lodge. Indoor waterparks are gross, kids, but nothing is better than the patronage from Baltimore, Philly, and Jersey.

Hopefully, the car is not too annoying for some out there.

Dave's weekend was packed full of baseball action and head traumas...not his. From the Baltimore Oriels and New York Yankees duking it out from a wild pitch, to a Presidential candidate nearly becoming an historical bookend, there was nothing short of trauma caused this weekend: baseball games were interrupted. This type of thing cannot be allowed to happen, we need our sports...uninterrupted.
