2nd race on the day. Finished 2nd overall 1st masters. Felt abnormally good. So went with it. Didnt plan to be out in front. But found myself in 2nd with a tenth or two. 1st had 5-10 second lead that stayed that way till 1.5 in. Reeled him in slowly. Mile 2ish when hit the actual trailmi was right behind him. I took the lead. Till 4.3. I lost it within last .1. 3rd 2 miles in was at least 30 seconds behind. And i looked back few time and saw noone. But after i passed guy who was in 1st, the guy who did win must of really turned it on . I looked back few times and saw noone buy the 1 i past to take over 1st. Out of nowhere winner past me within last .1 i felt his emergy as passed me amd there was 0 things i could do about it at the time there was no time left to kick it was over. It was very interesting and for soem reaosn didnt upset me. Of course he was a college runner so i had no real shot anyhow. But yea i did way better then expected. Had change a bunch on mp3 player to stay grooving. It worked. Also felt that race in morning didnt affect me at all for this one. I recovered maverlously.
