このコンテンツについて
Amy Thomson is the founder of the app “Moody Month” which is an app that allows women to track their monthly cycles and log their moods and symptoms. The aim is to help women to build a long-term picture of their hormone patterns and connect women with the wellness information and advice they need to address their symptoms including advice about nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness.
In this episode, Amy and I chat about her Rude Awakening of experiencing burnout after founding her first business. During that time Amy was travelling extensively and dealing with the stresses of running a business until in 2016 her periods totally stopped. She spent almost 12 months being told she may be infertile or suffering from any number of terrifying illnesses before finally realising her symptoms were due to burnout.
We also talk about her experience as a female founder and the steps that Amy and the Moody Month team have taken to support women in the US by protecting their data following the overturning of Roe vs Wade.
