Many preceptors have chosen to stop taking pharmacy students on rotations. Let’s be honest, some preceptors feel like students are unmotivated and needy. Students feel like preceptors are not giving feedback and setting expectations adequately. Generational differences play a large role in miscommunication and points of contention. How do we address this issue? How do we approach our GenZ learners with understanding and empathy?
