  • S10. Episode 9: Building Resilience
    2025/05/22
What do you do if getting unstuck doesn’t pan out like you planned? You either end up staying stuck or the outcome is worse than you imagined? Listen as Corey and Tracy talk about ways to be resilient after a setback, such as realistically anticipating the struggle ahead, keeping things in context, widening your heart, and leaning on others. Corey shares about tackling a tricky climb during her latest rock climbing endeavor, while Tracy discusses having been convinced multiple times to “not burn it all down” after a horrible breakup. All in all, they both agree that they grew up feeling a lot like the kid’s inflatable bottom-weighted “punching” bag from their childhood, in that getting up after a setback was not an option; you just pop right back. But, how they pop right back is very different – Tracy with her all-in, head-first approach and Corey with her recalibrate and reset approach. So, whatever works best for you, go with it! Cassie shares about the role of “being,” “choosing,” and “tolerating” in manifesting and how those behaviors influence what we actually end up manifesting. Learn about Tracy’s calling to be a healer, and Corey’s to be a teacher but how these continue to show up in their “being” space in personal relationships. Hear all about Tracy’s wounded deer syndrome, Cassie’s garage door metaphor, and Corey’s future role vetting Tracy’s partners based on how soft their skin appears. 2025/05/22
Tune in for this vulnerable take on letting go – from Tracy’s recent romantic heartbreak to Corey’s story of coping with her mom’s death. Both share that you have to feel the feelings and then move on, and that stillness for extended periods of time can keep you in a place of unnecessary suffering. Corey talks about how letting go of the pain of her mom’s death was not her letting go of her mom, and Tracy shares about how harboring guilt only keeps us stuck. • S10. Episode 4: Reflecting on Stuckness with Nadine Corella
    2025/05/22
Join us as we talk with Nadine Corella, founder of the Facebook group, Lesbians of Arizona, and winner of the 2022 Dinah Shore DJ Contest. Nadine shares her story of working through the healing process after heartbreak – moving from a state of just trying to get up each day to engaging in self-reflection to helping others with their healing processes. Hear about the strategies she used to get unstuck from heartbreak, including using ChatGPT to deepen her understanding of herself. While Nadine shares what helped her get unstuck, it took a while for her to learn that the only person that can give you closure is you. Far more profound than Corey’s learning that love crystals don’t work for her to unstick herself from heartbreak, and talking to a tree seemed to go nowhere for Tracy. Tune in for great tips and inspiration if you feel like you are stuck in the healing process from a breakup! Show Notes: Attachment Styles-Learn more about attachment styles – how they are formed and how they might impact your relationships. ChatGPT-Try out these prompts Nadine used for deeper self-reflection. Act as a therapist who helps me cut through my patterns, not just soothe me. Ask me direct, uncomfortable, but revealing, questions. Help me see the subconscious beliefs, emotional habits, and survival strategies I’m stuck in. Focus on the real roots of my behavior, not surface-level advice. Be compassionate, but don’t sugarcoat it. BUT before we start, help me name what I’m actually struggling with. I’ve been called things like too much, too sensitive, controlling or dramatic but I want to get underneath those labels. Ask me a few clarifying questions to help me understand my real pattern before we go deeper. Nadine Corella-Connect on Instagram.
