  • Clay in the Master's Hands
    2025/05/23

    Send us a text

The biblical metaphor of the Potter and clay from Jeremiah 18 provides a powerful illustration of God's work in our lives, showing how He reshapes us when we become distorted from His original design.

    • God as Potter and humanity as clay symbolizes divine guidance and our need to yield to His shaping
    • The marred clay represents how we distort ourselves through choices contrary to God's design
    • Spiritual transformation is a gradual process requiring patience and willingness to be molded
    • Life's trials are like the kiln's fire (1,500°F), strengthening us through difficulty
    • We naturally resist changing our ways, taking the easier path even when we know it's wrong
    • Personal testimony shows how God gradually refines our character and behaviors over time
    • Even when we're stubborn like ancient Israel, God continually offers the opportunity for redemption
    • We have a daily choice between following God's design or our own flawed plans

If you haven't accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to open your heart to His guidance and direction. Find a church community that will help edify your spirit and grow your knowledge of who God is.

  • The True Vine: Remaining Connected to Christ
    2025/05/17

    Send us a text

The imagery of the vine and branches in John 15 reveals how our connection to Christ determines our spiritual fruitfulness and provides practical insights for navigating life's challenges.

    • Christ is the true vine while we are the branches, completely dependent on Him for spiritual life and growth
    • God prunes branches to increase fruitfulness, removing what hinders our spiritual development
    • Seemingly negative life events (toxic relationships ending, job losses) may actually be God's loving pruning process
    • Spiritual fruit includes character transformation, positive impact on others, and the multiplication of disciples
    • Remaining connected to Christ through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship is essential for bearing fruit
    • The fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience) come naturally when we maintain our connection to the vine
    • God often works through others to support us, with fellow believers praying and interceding on our behalf
    • Our decisions determine our direction – choosing to follow Christ leads to peace and wisdom

If you feel life is hopeless or you're questioning your purpose, we invite you to dedicate your life to Christ. Find a church that will help you grow in faith and develop your relationship with God.

Today’s episode we will be talking about Romans 12:17-21 God has been really tugging at my heart to talk about these verses. Let’s get into it and see what we can learn from the word of God today. Romans 12:17-21 NIV 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
