Sustainable Fashion Week has teamed up with presenter Louise Gookey to launch a podcast series exploring our relationship with fashion and how we can positively reconnect with how we buy, wear, care and dispose of our clothing.

In this episode Louise interviews Besma Whayeb, founder and director of Ethical Influencers and the Curiously Conscious blog.

Besma is a sustainable fashion writer and creator, dedicated to finding kinder ways to live and dress. On her blog, Curiously Conscious, she shares her timeless style alongside deep-dives into the latest fashion news, trends, and sustainability reports. In addition, her Ethical Influencers network connects 1,300+ content creators globally.

Louise Gookey is TV and radio presenter, reporter and sustainability advocate. Sustainability became a passion of Louise’s after learning how fast fashion impacted the environment. This led to a curiosity in consumerism and exploring ways we can spend without destroying our planet. Louise has presented for the likes of BBC Good Food, Spotlight TV, Showcase TV and Property TV, and hosted award shows like The National Film Awards, World Fashion Awards, Digital Education Awards and National Reality TV Awards.
