Reclaiming My Story: Homeless, Hopeful, and Healing as Rebuilding
(Warning: This episode discusses suicide ideation. Please listen with care.)
In this episode, I share an emotional, raw, and redemptive journey through one of the most challenging seasons of my life.
After leaving my 23-year marriage, marked by psychological and financial abuse, I found myself without a home—moving from place to place with no permanent space to call my own.I’ll take you through how I found solace and support in a missional community outside the walls of a traditional church, and how living with a foster mom and her seven children became an unexpected chapter of healing and connection.
In that season, I learned profound lessons about shared struggles, and the beauty of community,Join me as I reflect on this transformative time in my life and how it reshaped my perspective on faith, hope, community, and the courage it takes to start over.
