Raising Her Voice with Raquel Russell

  • サマリー

  • In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Raquel A. Russell, a fellow University of Toronto alumni, who is a writer, podcaster at Talking Stories with Raquel Russell and communications professional at the University of Toronto Scarborough. The article Raquel wrote for U of T Magazine: Out of Action, Comes Hope made me truly reflect on my time as a student at U of T and realize that none of my professors were Black. In our conversation, Raquel was kind enough to share her story behind writing the article as well as her experience as a minority student of The University of Toronto.

Raquel’s Article: Out of Action, Comes Hope
News Stories Mentioned: 1 Black Medical Student News Article, The Power Gap Globe and Mail Article
