    It’s not easy to juggle ministry, parenting, and personal calling. The demands of a busy home, church responsibilities, and personal dreams can often feel like competing priorities. But the Bible never calls us to choose one over the other. Instead, it invites us to steward each with wisdom and grace. Consider the life of Priscilla in the New Testament (Acts 18). She and her husband Aquila were tentmakers, opened their home to Paul, discipled Apollos, and were committed to the church. Priscilla didn't have to neglect her home to serve God—she served with her home. Her life reminds us that we don’t need to chase balance as much as we need to pursue alignment—putting God at the center of all we do. Balancing home, ministry, and calling means recognizing the seasons we’re in and seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance daily. It means saying “yes” to what matters most, and “no” without guilt to what doesn’t. And above all, it means realizing that faithfulness in the hidden moments—bedtime prayers, clean dishes, or a phone call to encourage someone—is just as valuable in God's eyes as preaching on a platform.

He asked questions, modeled faith, corrected lovingly, celebrated growth, and constantly pointed them to the Father. That is the pattern for godly parenting. To disciple our children like Jesus is to go beyond rules and rewards. It’s to invite them into a living, breathing relationship with God by showing them what it looks like. It’s opening the Bible not just to read, but to live. It’s listening when they struggle, praying when they hurt, celebrating when they grow, and staying present through every stage of their development. The home is the first mission field. Before the world hears the Gospel from us, our children should experience it through us. Every bedtime prayer, every story of Jesus, every act of forgiveness and mercy teaches them who God is.
