Chicken talkin.... or rather about why we don't eat at one specific chicken place. You probably know what it is, and we just thought we'd let you know why we do that. We're not telling anyone else not to, but certainly if a company is actively working against our marriage... well, what would you do? For the record, Lee is about the KFC original recipe, and Brett is more spicy and Popeye's or Jollibee when he can get that! But neither of us eats a lot of fast food anyway, so maybe our boycott is one of convenience. Hope you enjoy!

Jenny Lee Stern is a Broadway actress who has spent fifteen years working with FORBIDDEN BROADWAY. It's a spoof show, like SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE for theater types. They are coming to Houston on a tour at the Hobby Center from April 24th through the 27th. Jenny and Brett talk about acting, Patti LuPone, and her juggling three kids and a wife while doing this gig.

Brett and Lee have very different tastes in music, but what is not different is the importance of music in their lives. For both of them, music has always been a great escape and a way to express themselves. In this episode we discuss some of our favorite artists and the songs of their lives—special note that this includes music they chose for their wedding.

Brett interviews Wesley Whitson, who will be starring as Hamlet in 4th WALL's production of HAMLET, which runs at the Spring Street Studios from May 2nd through the 24th. Wesley is a Houston-born and-raised actor who went to school at HSPVA and the University of Houston. He performs at Michael's Outpost regularly as part of the BROAD'S WAY.

Like everyone else we know in the world, Brett and Lee are talking about and reviewing MID-CENTURY MODERN. It's the show from WILL & GRACE creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan. Ryan Murphy produced it, and the show stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham. It's a nostalgic take on THE GOLDEN GIRLS, where they put three gay guys in a Palm Springs house with one of their mothers. Linda Lavin played Sybil (the mom), and this show marks her last appearance on serialized television.

MID-CENTURY MODERN is on Hulu, and it is a "streaming-only" sitcom with ten episodes already on the service serving as season one.

Brett dives into the Houston theater scene again, this time with Shunya Theatre, which is producing A NICE INDIAN BOY, which will run at the MATCH from April 10th through the 13th. Included in this interview are actors John Dunn and Taher Lokhandwala, along with director Anjana Menon. This is a romantic comedy about a white Bollywood-loving guy meeting an Indian guy at a temple and then having to meet his family.
