  • ✝️ SACRIFICE - At The Cross – Bro. Judah Yumul
    2025/01/18

    🗡🛡 GOD’S WORD - ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”

    SUMMARY

~ The Cross: A Journey of Death and Resurrection

~ From Death to Life: The Christian Experience

In this conversation, the speakers delve into the themes of sacrifice, self-denial, and the importance of love in the Christian faith. They emphasize the daily struggle of dying to oneself and the necessity of relying on God's strength to navigate life's challenges. The discussion highlights the significance of the cross as a symbol of love and sacrifice, encouraging listeners to embrace their spiritual journey with commitment and purpose. The speakers also draw parallels between the dedication seen in sports and the commitment required in faith, ultimately pointing to Christ as the ultimate reward for those who persevere.

⚔️ The cross of Jesus Christ represents sacrifice, death, and love. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called by Jesus Christ to pick up our spiritual cross and follow Him. When we die on a spiritual cross, we are then resurrected from a dead and sinful life, to a life of righteousness, purpose, blessings, and rewards from Jesus Christ. He will give us the strength to carry our cross, because we will need it, and there are blessings and a reward for carrying our cross, in this life and in the next. At the cross, Christ Jesus displayed His love for us all, because He sacrificed Himself on it and endured all that came along with it, so let's all make necessary sacrifices and endure our cross, because we want to display our love to Him, right back!

    TAKEAWAYS

The cross represents both suffering and God's immense love.

Resurrection requires a prior death; there is no redemption without it.

Pride can hinder our relationship with God and our spiritual growth.

Carrying our cross involves daily work and commitment to prayer.

The struggle in the Garden of Gethsemane illustrates the human condition.

Surrendering to God means giving up our entire selves, not just our sins.

Living in the spirit requires mortifying the deeds of the flesh.

Sacrifice is a foundational principle in the Christian life.

Love drives our sacrifices and commitment to God.

We need God's strength to carry our cross.

Christ is our exceeding great reward, surpassing all earthly desires.

  • 😤 ARROGANCE - In The Year King Uzziah Died – Pastor Michael Zotzman
    2024/12/25

    🗡🛡 GOD'S WORD - ‭‭‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.”

    SUMMARY

~ The Year King Uzziah Died: A Lesson in Humility

~ Pride and Its Consequences: A Biblical Perspective

This conversation explores the themes of faith, brotherhood, humility, and the dangers of pride and idolatry through the lens of biblical teachings, particularly focusing on the story of King Uzziah. The speakers emphasize the importance of surrounding oneself with good influences, the consequences of spiritual blindness, and the necessity of acknowledging God in all aspects of life. They draw parallels between the lessons from the kings of Judah and the challenges faced by modern believers, urging listeners to remain humble and vigilant in their faith journey.

⚔️ Arrogance will block our view of God. King Uzziah was a type of arrogance personified, and he got lifted up in arrogant pride and got beside himself. Arrogance will make us think we don't need God. We must avoid or guard against everything that will lead to arrogance, because if we don't, God will be forced to judge us. We must give Jesus Christ everything, or what we don't give Him may result in a source of arrogance/idolatry to us. We may not have set out or started out with arrogance, but if we don't guard against it, we will fall into its sinful trap. So, let's be careful to stay humble before Jesus Christ, always.

    SOUND BITES

    "Pride leads to downfall."

    "Idolatry is a trap."

    "God will judge arrogance."

    TAKEAWAYS

Being a real Christian is the hardest, best thing you can do.

Arrogant-pride can lead to spiritual downfall and isolation.

Idolatry can manifest in many forms, including self-reliance.

The story of King Uzziah illustrates the dangers of arrogance.

Humility is essential for spiritual growth and understanding.

Acknowledging God in all aspects of life is crucial.

Spiritual blindness can prevent us from seeing our own issues.

In this conversation, the speakers discuss the themes of falling and failing, emphasizing that falling does not equate to failure. They explore the importance of perseverance, grace, and redemption in the Christian faith, highlighting biblical examples of individuals who fell but were restored through repentance. The conversation encourages listeners to support one another and to understand that God's grace is always available, reinforcing the idea that every fall can lead to growth and new beginnings.

    🗡🛡 GOD'S WORD - ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. I will be patient as the Lord punishes me, for I have sinned against him. But after that, he will take up my case and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies. The Lord will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.”

⚔️ When we fall into sin we are not beyond redemption! God is not surprised by our falls. Falling is embarrassing, but it's more disappointing when we stay down. Falling can lead to spiritual growth. When we fall we are not beyond redemption. God provides us with an advocate in Jesus Christ. Our failures don't have to define us. A heart of repentance is key to our restoration in God, because it's all about Him. Be willing to rise by God's power. Failure happens when we give up on God's purpose for our lives. Our perseverance is more important than our perfection in God, because perfection will gradually come as we continue to follow God through Jesus Christ. So, let's persevere, remembering that falling is not failure, but that not persevering in Jesus Christ, is.
