Its that magical time of year again. Time to register for the NFAA GAS/LAS Midwest Classic Trail Shoot in Wabash, Indiana hosted by Bass and Bucks on June 21-22!!! The REGISTRATION DEADLINE is JUNE 11th. This event is 70 targets (40 Sat and 30 Sun) orange dot event with a possible score of 1540. Archers shoot foam targets from 4 yards to 101 yards and everything in between. Come be a part of a great experience put on by some fantastic hosts. You'll meet some new friends and share the range with pros from all across the country. This is a NFAA style event with similar classes and a new hunter hybrid class for you slider sight using arrow flingers. Every year at the ASA Western Region Paris Am/am "Red River Shootout" the states part of the Western Region get together for a Friday night dinner and induct members into the Hall of Fame. This year our 2 Oklahoma Inductees were Kent Chesser and Scott Shields. Both of these gentlemen are ambassadors to the sport of archery and highly involved in the ASA. Taylor fresh off his 3rd place Redding Trail Shoot finish and then backed it up with another podium finish at his first ever 3D shoot. The conversation goes all over from owning property in Oklahoma and California. He is shooting the new Hoyt Concept X and we go down a rabbit hole of talking about tiller tuning. Hunter gives us a look inside how a barebow archer functions at different distances and Easton details what its like to beat Neil every time they shoot together.
