You’ve seen the viral interviews. You’ve watched the headlines. But now, it’s time for the real story. Okay and? With Leah Henry peels back the glossy layers of public perception and dives into the raw, unfiltered truth behind the last two years of my life — both on and off the mic.

This podcast is my honest, unapologetic account of what really happened when the lights dimmed and the career momentum slowed. From the trauma that shook me, to the triumphs that lifted me, to the moments that straight-up terrorized my peace — I’m sharing it all. Why? Because healing deserves a mic too.

So if you’ve ever wondered what went down, or you’re navigating your own silent battles, come sit with me. We’re getting real, we’re getting deep, and we’re growing through it — together.

Okay and? Exactly.

  • Okay And...I Have Endometriosis
    2025/07/22

On this episode of Okay And?', Leah Henry sits down with Lauren Kornegay, founder of Endo Black — a powerful organization advocating for Black women living with Endometriosis.

Do you think your heavy periods are just “normal”? Are you dealing with intense pain and getting no real answers? Have doctors dismissed your concerns time and time again? If any of that sounds familiar, this episode is for you.

Lauren opens up about her personal battle with Endometriosis and the frustration of navigating a healthcare system that often fails to listen to Black women. Out of that experience, she created Endo Black — a community built to provide advocacy, support, and resources for Black women affected by this chronic, often undiagnosed disease.

Leah also shares her own journey with Endometriosis, revealing the emotional and physical toll it has taken on her life and how she’s learned to fight back and speak up.

This conversation is eye-opening, validating, and deeply necessary for anyone struggling to feel heard when it comes to their health.

  • Okay And...I Have PCOS
    2025/07/15

On this episode of Okay And?, Leah Henry sits down with PCOS advocate, educator, and founder of Love Served Warm, Tianna Trinidad.

If you’ve ever heard the words, “I’m sorry, there’s nothing we can do — except put you on birth control,” this episode is for you.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) disproportionately affects women of color — often more severely and with fewer answers. Leah opens up about how her life was turned upside down after an ultrasound revealed a 10 cm ovarian cyst. From painful periods and excessive bleeding to hair loss, chin hair, and multiple periods a month, Leah’s experience is one many will find all too familiar.

That’s why she brought in Tianna — a PCOS coach, content creator, and fierce advocate — to help unpack it all. Tianna shares her personal journey, including a heartbreaking miscarriage and the negligence she faced during one of the most devastating times in her life.

Together, Leah and Tianna dive deep into the disparities Black women face when dealing with PCOS, how systemic racism impacts diagnosis and treatment, and why education and advocacy are crucial for healing.

This conversation is raw, informative, and deeply necessary — especially for those who feel unseen in the healthcare system.

  • Okay And...I Have Mommy Issues!
    2025/07/08

On this episode of Okay And?, Leah Henry sits down with viral “mother wound” coach Jennifer Arnise for a raw and deeply personal conversation.

In the Black community, mothers are often revered — seen as the heart and backbone of the household. But what happens when that’s not your experience? What if your relationship with your mother was the source of pain instead of peace?

As Leah reflects on the last two pivotal years of her life, she opens up about her own mother wound — a truth that surfaced after her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis. What followed was a journey through unspoken trauma, healing, and self-discovery.

Jennifer Arnise has built a powerful community of Black women working to heal the pain that stems from childhood — especially the complex, often unacknowledged wounds created in their relationships with their mothers. In this episode, she breaks down the “perfection complex,” how it ties into our self-worth, and why healing your inner child is key to living a fuller, freer life.

If anything in this episode triggers something in you, it might be a sign that your own healing journey is calling. This conversation is raw, real, emotional — and ultimately, full of hope.

We hope you listen with an open heart and leave feeling seen.
