    Throughout this podcast journey we will touch on off grid life, hunting, fishing, cooking, and just personal life struggles, battles and wins. We hope you enjoy listening to our babbling talks, disagreements, and the guests we choose to bring on this show that share many similarities with us!

    Off Gritters came to me when I was on the phone with Keenan and we were talking about the power outage my parents were dealing with. I randomly said to him “off gridders are always prepared for power outages” being snarky and comical and the “phrase” kinda stuck in my head for a while… I then started listening to the way I was saying it and realize gritters would be a cool way to show case our podcast that we’ve been dreaming up.. Grit and determination is something we’ve had to have during the last 5 years together, and in true podcast fashion I just added onto the word to make it sound cooler..

    Off Gritters.. living and striving for self sufficiency and to continue having grit, digging deep and holding onto the dreams we’ve thought up in our minds..

Cory is well known for his YouTube Channel The Maine Woods where him in his black lab Gracie build their off grid cabin, look for moose shed, help fix up historical log cabins in the North Maine Woods, and go on many different adventures throughout our beautiful state of Maine. We met Cory a couple years ago and have kindled a friendship of being online creators and enjoying the same hobbies the woods of Maine has to offer. Throughout this episode we question Cory on who he is, the goals and has and learn more about him and his faith with Jesus Christ.
