I suffered from eating disorders, sexual abuse, toxic co-dependent relationships, family trauma, workaholism and I escaped a religious cult as a teenager. I've been to the darkest pits of despair. Perpetually swinging from the highest highs to the lowest lows. Directionless and depressed. I had no spiritual foundation, nor concept of practical self care and eventually it caught up to me in the way of a massive nervous breakdown and suicide attempt in 2009 when I was in my late twenties.
