Testing out interfaces and seeing which are compatible... this little video tested out 3 microphones through my Shure Motiv Interface, Riverside FM features: captions and AI editing, YouTube upload, and reviewing the process. I have a Shure SM58 that I adore, the knock off SM58 from Temu was super quiet and the SM57 Temu special was oddly surprising.... after I ran it through the Riverside AI audio processing to bring it up to "studio quality" - I assure you the original was wayyy too quiet. Indeed, this prompted me to cancel an order I had waiting and went another direction. I will stick to my Shure SM58 as my primary microphone for a while yet - mainly because you can still see my face for podcast videos. Being able to see my lips is very important to me because I am a lip-reader and wish to give others the same consideration.
