  • In this episode I am joined by Transformational Wellbeing coach David Barnes who shares his amazing journey from rock bottom to being of service with his amazing coaching business.

    “Blind drunk to 20-20 vision”

    At the end of 2020, I was in a bad place: weighing 19st 5lb, on medication, smoking 20 cigarettes a day, drinking heavily, and dealing with broken relationships and anger. I didn't like who I was behind my “mask.”Using available tools, I began changing my habits slowly and steadily.

    I wrote things down, understood them better, lost weight, changed my relationship with alcohol, and learned new ways to cope.

    I made daily efforts to improve, staying active and continually learning what worked and why.

    Fast forward 3 1/2 years from “rock bottom”: I now weigh 13st 13lb, am off medication, don’t smoke, have repaired relationships, and haven’t drunk alcohol in 2 1/2 years.
