 Instruction from the Forgiven – Psalm 32 This morning we're taking a short pause from our study in Romans to spend some time in Psalm 32 which was referenced in Romans 4—a psalm of David that speaks right to our daily walk as children of God. David knew what it was to sin, to try to hide it, to feel the heavy hand of the Lord upon him, and then to know the blessed relief of confessing that sin and being forgiven. In these 11 verses, we see both the truth and the experience: the misery of keeping silence before God, the joy of acknowledging our transgressions, and the reality that blessed is the one whose sin is covered and to whom the Lord will not impute iniquity. This is instruction we all need—because every one of us still grapples with sin, and every one of us needs to be reminded of where to go with it. My prayer is that as we look at David's testimony, we'll be encouraged to confess quickly, to rest in the finished work of Christ, and to rejoice in the mercy that surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord. 📖 Text: Psalm 32 (KJV) 🎵 Closing Hymn: "Victory in Jesus"
