 In this episode, Tammy chats with Jacky Leonard about how to maintain and grow your skills as a trainer.They discuss the importance of continuous professional development as a trainer, how to instantly engage with delegates from minute one and the future of online training – including their own tips and best practice.Jacky Leonard has over 25 years of experience as a facilitator, coach and manager. She gave up what her brother calls a ‘proper job’ at the end of 2006 and now works as a freelance learning consultant, specialising in coach education and the design and delivery of behaviour skills interventions.Described as a consummate professional and charismatic trainer, her philosophy is all about putting people first, believing learning has more impact if it is person-centred, outcome-driven and fun (with a serious intent).Jacky is a tutor for The Coaching Academy, a member of the CIPD and Institute of Customer Service and a Training Provider Partner with CIMSPA.An e-version of her book, Delivering Authentic Customer Experiences is available on Amazon here; this is due to be released as a paperback book this year.In series 4 of the Training 4 Influence podcast, we’re talking all about training.
