The Tennessee Titans won their second preseason game, but the score doesn't matter, the team was UGLY in Atlanta. It had feels of 2024 with the penalties, special teams blunders and explosives plays on defense. Despite that, Cam Ward continues to improve and had a more clean game against the Falcons then he did last week. Elic Ayomanor made the biggest play of the day, but also showed why he is still a rookie and shouldn't have lofty expectations. Finally, the Special teams unit is very concerning and Johnny Hekker is a guy everyone should be worrying about.

The Tennessee Titans take on the Atlanta Falcons in their second preseason game and it sounds like Cam Ward is not going to play anymore than he did last week. It could be a mistake for Brian Callahan. Ward will need the Titans offensive line to play similarly to what they did against the Buccaneers and eyes will be focused on the big guys to make sure of it. The rookie weapons have been a constant focus, but Gunnar Helm is starting to emerge at tight end and it would be nice to see him make some plays this week. On defense, the Titans suddenly have some real position battles starting at linebacker and cornerback which will deserve attention.

Cam Ward had a better day at joint practice between the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons, but his worst trait of his early NFL career was exposed at the end of practice. This may seem bad, but this is actually a GREAT thing for Cam Ward moving forward. On defense, the Titans brought the fight, as in actual fighting, but they didn't really stop the Falcons offense much AND we got some big position battles taking place on that side of the ball. Finally, Brian Callahan's big trip is coming to an end and it is hard to feel like the Titans are in a better place for it, but this is something Callahan thinks will pay off in the future.

The Tennessee Titans had a terrible showing against the Atlanta Falcons in joint practice on Tuesday and it is starting to be concerning how the team is performing over the last few weeks. These struggles and the reasons for them starting give you Cam Ward concerns, but not about Ward, for Ward. As the Titans supporting cast on offense and the coaching staff, could make it tough for Ward to overcome and get wins. It wasn't ALL bad for the Titans though as team stars, Jeffery Simmons and Calvin Ridley, both had good days. The Titans also had some success in the run game, which will be critical when the games matter. Finally, the Titans are teetering on a confidence collapse and need to come back at Wednesday's practice and give a better effort.

The Tennessee Titans take on the Atlanta Falcons in joint practice this week and they need to leverage their physicality to win the matchup. Especially on offense where Cam Ward's offensive line needs to continue it's positive performance on Saturday against a weaker Falcons pass rush. On defense, the Titans secondary will have it's hands full, so the defensive line needs to step up and do he job. Finally, the Titans have a lot to be concerned about and coming out of the weekend, Tyler thinks a dose of reality may be in order for Titans fans.

Cam Ward wasn't perfect in the Tennessee Titans preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he had a very good showing that earns him a B+ grade. As the first overall pick with that performance, the amount of disrespect Cam Ward is receiving in terms of coverage is quite insane. The reality is, that will only make his success feel sweeter. While Ward's play was exciting, the quarterbacks behind him left a lot to be desired, but that is by designed and should not change. However, panicking about the state of the defensive depth is certainly warranted. Tyjae Spears was carted off during Friday's game and his timeline has been announced by Brian Callahan. It seems more optimistic than what it looked coming out of the game. Plus, injury updates on a lot of other players like L'Jarius Sneed and T'Vondre Sweat!
