The Dodgers won another game and this time it was Jason Heyward playing hero. He hit a three-run home run in the 8th inning to give the Dodgers the lead. It was a perfect time for it to happen as he is one of many players currently on the bubble for the roster and/or the playoff roster. The umpires didn't help things but the Dodgers end up overcoming everything to win. Walker Buehler was just ok and didn't show much improvement from his other outings. Is his time as a starter or with the Dodgers up?

Gavin Lux and Max Muncy went back to back in back to back nights drawing the Dodgers to within 1 then in the 7th Mookie Betts knocked in the tying run with 2 outs and in the 8th pinch hitter Jason Heyward put the Dodgers ahead to stay with a 3 run blast. Walker Buehler went 4 giving up 3 runs on 7 hits.

Even before Monday's game started, it was a hugely eventful day for the Los Angeles Dodgers. LA swapped out three roster spots, removing Nick Ahmed (designated for assignment), Andy Pages (optioned to Triple-A), and Austin Barnes (on the injured list with a broken toe) with Max Muncy, Tommy Edman, and Hunter Feduccia. Then they had an emotional on-field ceremony to welcome back fan favorite Justin Turner in his first return to Dodger Stadium since leaving in free agency. Then the game started, and Gavin Stone outdueled Bryan Woo and got help with homers from Muncy and Gavin Lux. Edman and Shohei Ohtani added hits, and Joe Kelly and Evan Phillips shut it down for the 3-0 win.
