  • Faith That Gets Jesus’ Attention - Unshakable Faith Ep. #1
    2025/01/06

In this inspiring sermon, Pastor Max dives deep into the powerful story of Bartimaeus, as told in Luke 18:35-43. Despite his blindness, Bartimaeus knew exactly who Jesus was and refused to let the moment pass him by when Jesus walked by. He cried out with relentless faith, calling Jesus “Son of David,” acknowledging Him as the Savior with the power to heal.
Bartimaeus' plea for mercy wasn’t just a casual request—it was a bold act of faith. Mercy is at the heart of who God is: forgiveness, salvation, and overcoming life’s obstacles all stem from His mercy. This sermon reminds us that Jesus is moved by #compassion, not by the search for signs and wonders. When we seek God's mercy, we are walking in faith, and with faith comes healing, transformation, and miracles.
Bartimaeus' faith stopped Jesus in His tracks. It was his tireless, determined cry for mercy that caught the Lord’s attention, and it was his unshakable faith that ultimately led to his healing. Pastor Max challenges us to exercise that same persistent faith in our own lives and to recognize the power of Jesus' presence when He is near.
Join us as we explore the significance of persistent faith and learn how to cry out to Jesus for the mercy and healing we need in our lives.

In this powerful sermon, Pastor Max delves into the profound significance of communion, reflecting on the last act of Jesus before his crucifixion. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 11:23-30, Pastor Max emphasizes the importance of remembering and honoring Jesus' sacrifice each time we partake in communion.

Through references to Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53:1-5, we are reminded not to let communion become a mere routine but to deeply contemplate what Jesus endured for us.

The sermon highlights the serious warning in scripture about taking communion in an unworthy manner (1 Corinthians 11:29-30). It calls us to discern, understand, and personalize the immense suffering Jesus bore for our sins and healing (Isaiah 53:1-5).

  • Conversation with Jesus
    2024/08/12

When things happen that trouble us, what do we do?
    Was Jesus ever troubled?
What happens when a believer dies?
God wants us to walk in victory but we have to remember that our final destination is Heaven.
In this sermon, Pastor Max explores the importance of setting our minds on things above, as described in Colossians 3:1 (NIV). While we teach a lot about overcoming challenges, we must also remember our ultimate victory in heaven. In difficult situations Jesus always knows what to say.

Feeling troubled does not mean we need to repent, as even Jesus was troubled (John 11:33, John 12:27, John 13:21). Hebrews 4:14-16 reminds us that Jesus understands and helps us through our struggles. Despite the challenges, we are encouraged to trust in God and not let our hearts be troubled or afraid (John 14:1, 27). Our ultimate victory is assured through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
