    A farmer, a geneticist, and a coroner. On October 2nd, 1976, a farmer and his 12-year-old granddaughter made a grisly discovery. They found the body of a woman in a ditch off Highway 6 in Grundy County. For over 47 years, the victim remained unidentified and known only as the Seneca County Jane Doe. The summer of 2024, the Seneca County Jane Doe was finally identified as 20-year-old, JoAnn "Vickie' Smith. But to this day, her murder remains unsolved.     A social club, two more disappearances, and an abandoned five-year-old. Six weeks after Laureen Rahn vanished from her apartment in Manchester, on June 8th of 1980, 25-year-old Denise Daneault disappeared after spending a night out at a social club. For years investigators didn’t take her disappearance seriously. What they didn’t know was that another Denise, Denise Beaudin, also vanished from the Manchester area a little over a year after Denise Daneault. The two women had more than just their name in common, they were both living on Hayward Street. But unlike Denise Daneault, Denise Beaudin wasn’t reported missing until thirty five years after she disappeared. Denise Daneault vanished from Manchester, New Hampshire on June 8th, 1980. She was last seen leaving the Merrimack Club at approximately 1:30 am. At the time of her disappearance Denise was 25 years old, 5’5, approximately 135 pounds with brown hair and brownish green eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown print skirt. Denise Beaudin vanished on November 26th, 1981 from Manchester, New Hampshire. She was last seen at her family’s home in Goffstown. She was 23 years old, approximately 5’5, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Denise has a distinct overbite.     A pay phone, three calls, and unscrewed lightbulbs. On April 26th, 1980, 14-year-old Laureen Rahn vanished from her apartment n Manchester, New Hampshire. A neighbor reported hearing voices in the hallway of the apartment building...followed by silence and Laureen Rahn seemingly vanished into thin air. Not long after her disappearance, her mother, Judith, reported a flurry of 3:45 am phone calls where the caller silently remained on the line for a moment before hanging up. Laureen Rahn is a white female. At the time of her disappearance, she was 14 years old, 5'4 and weighed 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white V-neck sweater, a blue plaid shirt, jeans, brown shoes, a heart shaped gold ring and a sliver and blue necklace. Laureen has brown hair, blue eyes, and a prominent scar on her upper leg from a childhood injury. She has light brown birthmarks under each of her eyes.
