Today we sit down with Leanna Vollintine! We discussed almost everything, so we made two episodes out of it :) Part One is all about building rapport with families and clients! We discuss great functional activities in and out of therapy as well as how to incorporate the family/caregivers into our therapy to help with carryover. (Also when you should not be sending activities home). Leanna has so many great ideas for how to make parents more comfortable, aware of what our services entail, and the importance of home practice!
Remember this is PART 1, so stay tuned for PART 2 next time! You will learn about her experience as a business owner and how chronic pain affects everyday tasks. She brings so much insight and great business tips for anybody!
