In today’s episode, Lance talks about how laying down our lives is essential for us to be overcomers. He explains that our self-life is what keeps us from experiencing the fullness of the Lord’s life and keeps us in the realm of just being converts and knowing Jesus as our Saviour instead of going on as disciples and letting Jesus be our Lord as well. If we want to experience resurrection life, we need to let go of our claim to our own life and let Jesus truly be our Lord.

In this week’s episode, Lance shares about the importance of having the right foundation. The correct foundation in our Christian life is obviously the Lord Jesus, but Lance shares that we can easily shift our foundation from being built on the solid rock of Christ to the topsoil of things like a Christian background or our own devotion to Christ. He also speaks about the Lordship of Jesus in our lives being necessary for us to keep our feet on the rock, and that if Jesus is our Lord, then we need to do what he says.

In this episode, Lance reads from Isaiah 54, and speaks about our need as the children of God to be alive to God and empowered by God for the work He is doing. Lance also speaks about the necessity of hearing God, and going further than just hearing—to take what God has spoken and to stand with Him in prayer that it would be accomplished.
