  • The Pathway to Finding My Mission and Living a More Fruitful Life with LA Assemblies of God Superintendent Dr. Scott Holmes
    2024/12/18

In this episode of the Kingdom Come Podcast, Austin and Derrick were joined by the Louisiana Assemblies of God Superintendent, Dr. Scott Holmes. This is the first part of our conversation where we really dive into the question: What is missions? Many people think missions is just going to another country to tell people about Jesus, but Pastor Scott really challenges that construct to show us that we all have a mission. In order to be on our mission, we must first understand what it is. Many people are looking for their purpose, their meaning and their mission, and Pastor Scott lays out a path for us all to live a missional life.
The Bible teaches us that as Christians we ought to bear fruit. What does that look like, and how can I learn to live a more fruitful life?

Since Pastor Scott is over all of the Assemblies of God churches in the state, we really pressed in on what is a healthy church. What do they look like and why is it important? Many people misunderstand the metrics in which we can measure the health of a church. How can we know if it is healthy if we don't know how to measure that? All of this is talked about in this episode!
