    2025/05/14

    Activity Verses Relationship

For over 2000 years Christians have been doing a lot of things in the name of Jesus and some maybe most of it had nothing to do with Jesus. Our priorities and activities may need to be re-evaluated from time to time. Most of us have been told somewhere in our journey to eat from the wrong tree (this is good/this is bad) We have been told that it is all about doing instead of being. If I try to be a better person and always do the right thing, God would be pleased. Now there is nothing wrong with trying to be a better person, however it must be in the right order. I got the cart before the horse. A relationship with the Lord must come first, to obtain the proper outcome.

    Mat 6:33

“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

Seek first his kingdom or his realm, which is within. The spiritual realm is beyond the natural. We are not seeking a natural kingdom out there somewhere; we are seeking a spiritual realm where the father dwells and that realm is inside of us. What is this spiritual realm?

It’s a higher realm of consciousness built in accordance with the Christ mind or Christ consciousness. The realm of Spirit is wherever God is working to express Himself. When man becomes the perfect image and likeness of God, no other realm will appear to have been.
There is a huge difference between dead works and God works and James is referring to God works. Many times, we are told to do this and that in order to please God. We must discern between what man says and what God says. Sometimes it is the same but sometimes it is not the same. That is where relationship must enter in. If we are in relation with someone, we know that person very well. We know their likes and dislikes. The Bible is a great guide; however it can be misinterpreted. When we know God’s voice there is no chance to misinterpret that beautiful small still voice of the Father.

  • Episode 117: Restoration of All Things
    2025/05/07

    Restoration of All Things

    Act 3:21
“whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Restitution--The resurrection of man to the divine image and likeness in mind and body and to the dominion that has been his from the beginning.

Restitution means restoration of reconstitution. Something has been lost. What was lost? When was it lost and how shall it be restored? The restoration that the Bible is referring to requires us to go back even farther than Eden. Peter spoke to the crowds in the 3rd chapter in the book of Acts.

Here is an interesting thought, If the prophets of old spoke about this great restoration, we must realize that this restoration goes back beyond any of their prophecies, beyond the foundations of the cosmos and beyond the first moment of time. We can’t look at this in a natural, physical realm. So we can’t look at this restoration as something Adam lost, but something God lost. God didn’t misplace and lose his keys. Jesus came to seek and save what was lost. Luke 19:10. Christ came to save not just he who was lost, but the thing that was lost. We are not being restored to Adam, we are being restored to Christ, where we hold out true identity, where there is no beginning and will be no end.

Awareness of Our Oneness – Unity in Christ pt 2

We are going to start off the broadcast today with a quote from Richard Rohr,

True spirituality is not a search for perfection or control or the door to the next world rather it is a search for divine union now.

It is not about building bigger buildings or trying to be a good person, it is about relationship first with God and second with each other. It is about oneness and unity.

Why is this topic so controversial? Madam Jean Guyon was place in a French prison for writing a book on union with God. It is nearly impossible to believe with the natural mind that we can be in union with the almighty. This must be received with the Christ mind that has already been given to you. Eyes that can see beyond the natural. Ears that can hear into the spiritual realm. Stop seeking without what you already have within. Seek God in your heart and you will find him.

    Eph 4

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit].

15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Church leaders’ number one job should be to lead folks to a personal relationship with the Lord. Nothing is more important than that.

  • Episode 115: Awareness of Our Oneness
    2025/04/23

Awareness of Your oneness – Union with God

Many are seeking without what’s already within.

One, is the origin of all things and the cause of all things. There is one Spirit; one principle of life, love, intelligence, and goodness in, through, and over all. There is but one Mind (Christ). One presence and one power--God, Spirit, is the only presence in the universe, and is the only power. He is in, through, and around all creation as its life and sustaining power. -God is the one Spirit-Mind in which all ideas of life, love, substance, intelligence, and power originate.

union with God--Unification of our consciousness with that of God-Mind. This is the Christ consciousness. "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

Consciousness, then, is not merely an awareness of our existence but an alignment with the divine essence that permeates all creation. To awaken to this consciousness is to recognize that we are not separate from the Source but eternally connected, sustained, and empowered by it. This divine consciousness, often termed the Christ consciousness, transcends the illusions of self and connects us to the universal truth: that we are one with Spirit, one with God.

In this state of divine awareness, the boundaries of individuality dissolve, revealing a harmonious flow where our thoughts, actions, and intentions align with the greater will of God. It is through this union of consciousness that the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, and patience—naturally manifest, enriching not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.

The only real unity is in Spirit. It is found nowhere else because personality always strives for its own success and aims for the good of the personal man, instead of the good of all men.

  • Episode 114: God's Wrath vs God's Love
    2025/04/16

    God's Wrath vs God's Love
We going to read 2 scriptures from the Bible. It depicts a doubleminded God, which means a very unstable God. Now we know that God is not unstable.

    Isa 13:9

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

If we take that scripture at face value, God is going to destroy all of us, because all have sinned and fell short of the glory. It sounds like God hate us. Now listen to this verse taken out of the 2 Cor 5:19:

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

If he is reconciling the world to himself, then who is not a part of the world?

In the Bible, reconciliation signifies a restoration of harmony and unity, particularly between God and humanity.

Now that is a description of an all loving all caring God who loves us unconditionally. There is no mistake that we can make that would keep him from loving us.

If he is restoring us to himself, then his wrath is against the things that separate us from him. If there is separation IT’S NOT God, it’s us. God has a plan to unite mankind together with him. Jesus left the 99 sheep to find that wayward one and bring him back.

There are many references in the Bible of his love for the wayward folks. Everyone has a measure of his faith placed in us. When the prodigal son came to the end of himself, he remembered that his father would take him back.

    Heb 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

If God never changes, then he can’t have wrath towards folks one day and then turn around the next day and show his grace towards them.

His wrath is aimed towards all unrighteous, not the people but the acts and thoughts of man that are not in line with the divine.

This whole topic of wrath vs grace is summed up in this one scripture.

    John 14:9

Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

We believe every word Jesus speaks. If we want to know the Father, then all we need to do is look at Jesus.

If we need proof of God’s nature and his feeling for mankind.

    Psaml 145:8

The LORD is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

    Let’s get back to Jesus:

Many times during his earthly ministry, Jesus was filled and moved with compassion.

    Mat 9:36

36 When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion, because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd.

He still feels that way today. Jesus had compassion for everyone. He did not discriminate or separate the good from the bad. He loved everyone and that is how he wants us to be.

If Jesus showed that kind of unconditional love, then the Father is the same way. For God so loved the world (cosmos).

If we still need examples of unconditional love, look at the woman caught in adultery. The law says stone her to death, while grace says where are your accusers. Jesus then said, neither do I accuse you. If he didn’t condemn her then he wouldn’t condemn anyone

  • Episode 113: The Truth About Sin Consciousness
    2025/04/09

The Truth About Sin Consciousness – free at last

This topic should be taught in every Bible study in the world. It is a topic that brings a message of love, hope and freedom. In the times we are living, who couldn’t benefit from that kind of news? Hopefully we can shed some light that will encourage and give you some ammunition to help set others free from the bondages of mistaken identity.

    What is sin consciousness?

Sin consciousness is the awareness of sin and its effects on one's life, often accompanied by feelings of guilt and remorse. This awareness can lead to a negative self-perception and a constant focus on one's shortcomings. In Christian theology, it contrasts with the concept of grace and redemption brought by Jesus.

    Key Distinctions

    · Scope: Remission emphasizes the complete release from the penalty of sin, while forgiveness focuses on the process of erasing sin and renewing one's mind and body.

    · Action: Remission is about the cancellation of debt or penalty, whereas forgiveness involves actively giving up sin and aligning with divine truth.

    · Outcome: Remission results in believers' being freed from past transgressions, while forgiveness leads to spiritual healing and harmony with divine law.
Let’s summarize those two scriptures and why isn’t there more emphasis on them.

    1. There is no accusing voice of condemnation

    2. The law of the spirit has made us free.

    3. God achieved what the law, which had limitations, couldn’t achive

    4. Because of Jesus, God reconciled (bringing again into unity, harmony, or agreement what has been alienated) everything to himself.

  • Episode 112: Love Overcomes Fear
    2025/04/02

Love Overcomes Fear – fear evolves as reality ( if not checked) – false evidence appearing real.

No one goes through life without experiencing fear in some form. The question we must ask ourselves is what are we doing about it? There is physical, emotional or psychological and man-made religious fear, however it all fear begins in our mind.

    2Tim 1

7 For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.

Fear is an evil spirit. Power, love and self-control or a sound mind comes from the Holy Spirit,

Fear is not just a spiritual battle it is also a psychological and physical battle.

When you feel fear, your body activates the "fight or flight" response, triggering a cascade of physiological changes like increased heart rate and breathing, and the release of stress hormones.

Today we are going to talk about religious fear.

Fear left unchecked grows or evolves into reality.

Evolve- develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

A great example of this is how some folks, as they get older, may develop a fear of death.
If we are living in love then we are living in God, which is where we are perfected. In God.

    1 John 4

God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them.

How does God overcome fear with his love?

    Romans 8

38 So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love.

Once we know how much God loves us, we begin to take that love and love others.

We must process and overcome our fears.

As fear is processed and overcome, love and joy will naturally expand.

  • Episode 111: The Finished Work of Jesus is Finished
    2025/03/26

The Finished Work of Jesus is Finished

What does that mean? His mission was completed in full. Everything he was sent to do was accomplished. When Jesus on the cross said, "it is finished, there was nothing left for him to do. We need to be awakened to the Christ within. To be able to see through all the stuff said about God and really see God. To be able to see things that you would normally not see. To have eyes to see and ears to hear what God is doing and saying. It is all uncovered within, for those who want to move on beyond religion and doctrines.
    Mark 1:17

15 His message was this: “At last the fulfillment of the age has come! It is time for God’s kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled gospel!”
The word experience means the fact or state of having been affected by or gained knowledge through direct observation or participation.
There is a big difference between observing and participating. I played basketball from 2nd grade through college. I observed basketball as a spectator, but I experienced or participated as a player. A fan watches from afar, not too much effort is expended, however as a player, there is commitment, effort and time that has to be made. Many practices, going to the outside courts during the off season, and playing through injuries and pain. All that effort was worth it, because you felt a calling and you had a passion for basketball. Spiritually speaking, experiencing the kingdom requires something on our part.

Here are a few things I do to experience the kingdom of God. First, it is about our relationship with him and having Christ formed in us.

    1. Practice the presence of God – understand God is within us.

    2. Pray in the Spirit

    3. Meditate on the Lord to hear his voice and also scriptures

    4. Focus on the eternal, the things that are unseen, the now

Jesus wants us to experience his unconditional love, grace and forgiveness, because then we share that with others. That can only be experienced from within our innermost being.
