That being said, it can be hard to stay objective and supportive when dealing with challenging behaviors of the relatively few clients and not have that affect how the vast majority of families just trying to make ends meet are treated. Part Two of this episode discusses the need to stay objective and learn about the families that are served to build the trusting relationship that is need to give success a chance. Tiff and Carl talk about the stereotypes associated with people in poverty and how they tend to be criminalized for experiencing poverty.
